Dead Alive Movie Poster Design

Fan art movie poster design for Peter Jackson's 1992 horror/gore/comedy, Dead Alive (aka Braindead). Before Jackson jumped on the Lord of the Rings trilogy, he was making low budget horror shlock. Some of his best work. I always wanted to see a movie poster that reflected the movie's over-the-top gory fun, so I gave it a shot. Look at all those zombie buddies. I incorporated some of the most memorable zombie characters to give the viewer a little insight into the movie experience. I also wanted the composition to mimic a POV shot of the infamous lawn mower scene without giving too much away.
