I was hired to create 35 full color illustrations for the graphic novel, Tri-Prime. The creator wanted each illustration to be hand inked and painted. It was quite a challenge, but it was my first gig right out of college, so I was eager to take it on.

 

Tri-Prime follows a kid named Andy who grew up in Olde City (a fictionalized version of Philadelphia). Wanting to make a difference, he joins the army and is soon recruited into a secret weapons division. Their main project is a weaponized suit that the operator can wear into combat. Fed up with the way the military was handling issues in the Middle East, Andy secretly steals one of the suits and makes his way back to Olde City where he takes crime into his own hands.
